In each university student’s adaptation at the initial stage of education is actual problem. The extent, to which the student enters the system of requirements, norms and social relations, depends on his further attitude towards learning activities, interaction with teachers and peers. The purpose of the article is to analyze adaptation of foreign students in the condition of the North. The method of the article is analysis and questioning. Successful overcoming of difficulties related to process of adaptation, makes students to raise their activity, interest to cognitive action.

Evaluating the thermal state of frozen soils under climate change and technogenesis is an important task in geocryology. Disturbance to the natural environment lead to changes in geocryological conditions that threat the stability of engineering structures. In this paper, we consider the recovery of the boundary conditions for heat exchange on the surface of the ground, where numerical simulation of the process of freezing and thawing of frozen soils requires initial data, both initial and boundary conditions. The correct choice of the initial heat transfer data increases the reliability of the calculations. The heat flux density is determined on natural and bare experimental sites. In the course of numerical studies, it has been established that the recovery process is highly dependent on the height of the snow cover and the ambient temperature. It is recommended to use the proposed algorithm for determining the heat flux density in modeling the thermal state of frozen soils.

The article presents information about the fat horses of the Yakut breed, as products of waste-free use of raw meat herd horse breeding. The results of studies of fatty acid composition of fat Yakut horses. Presents data of fatty acid composition of fat in low-temperature method of separating lipids from fat. The results of studies of new product of fat Yakut horses. The obtained results allow to conclude that the Yakut horse fat, particularly internal fat, can be used as a dietary product and as a raw material for producing food supplements.
