Scientific journal «Arctic XXI century» has been published since 2013.

In the areas of scientific and practical conferences («Adaptation of society and man in the Arctic regions in the context of climate change and globalization», «Landscape in the memory narrative. Reality. Image. Modeling», «Cultural heritage and sustainable development of the peoples of the North»), based on the activities scientific schools and the results of ethnological expertise in the circumpolar regions, issues of the journal «Arctic XXI century. Humanities» for 2014-2017. This work allowed not only to expand the circle of authors at the expense of Russian and foreign specialists, but also to increase the citation of the journal.

The issue of the journal No. 3 (13) 2017, dedicated to the issues of ethnological expertise in the circumpolar regions, was submitted to the specialized Expert Council on Nationalities of the State Duma of Russia. Scientific journal «Arctic XXI century. Humanities» is published 4 times a year in Russian and English.
