Opportunities for implementing a youth tourism project in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

Abstract

This article considers the main aspects of youth tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), its development trends and problems. The role of the development of tours for youth as a factor in the development of tourist destination is studied. Recommendations and innovations of the development of this type of tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are given. The object of the study is youth tourism, the subject is the possibilities of implementing the project of youth tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). A brief analysis of the concept and peculiarities of youth tourism is given. The relevance of the problem under consideration, its practical significance and insufficient degree of scientific study determined the choice of the topic of scientific research and served as a basis for formulating its purpose and objectives. The purpose of the scientific research is to determine the theoretical foundations and to assess the practical results of the organisation of youth tourism. Achieving the goal requires solving the following tasks: to study the specifics of youth tourism, to categorise the factors of youth tourism influence on the destination, to make a SWOT-analysis of youth tourism development in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), to identify the current trends of youth tourism development in the region. Measures to ensure the effective development of youth tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are developed.
